Kandice Young's Jesse's Girl, parts 1 & 2

Rock & Roll Country (Jesse's Girl Part 1)

Blurb:

The rock star meets the country music wannabe.

Jesse Lee didn't believe in love at first sight. Heart closed off by the tragic events of a past life, he refused to open the gates and let anyone in. Lonely nights filled with hit it and quit it romances, Jesse left his mark on beautiful women across the United States. That was before he walked into a bar in Memphis, Tennessee looking for his next catch. The moment he saw her on the stage, Jesse knew he had to have her. The only problem was he wasn't sure one night would be enough.

Trapped by the mistakes of her reckless childhood, Sophie Westbrook was looking for a way out. She never imagined it'd come in the form of the overly confident British born rock star, who happened to stroll in during her shift. Fueled by her need to do everything right, Sophie swore she'd never get involved with the wrong man again. That was before she knew just how right falling for Jesse could be.

Forced to choose between a world she never wanted and the life she could've had, Sophie must decide if Jesse's worth the risk of giving her heart away again.

Caught in a struggle between the man he is and the man he wants to be, Jesse must decide whether losing it all means gaining everything in return.

Part one of five.

Author Bio

Kandice is…

…a serial lover of all things pink, self-proclaimed chocoholic, home-schooling mother, and wannabe yogi.

Her debut erotica novel is Run to You, the first in the series Run.

Kandi’s love of storytelling can be traced back to her fourth grade year, when a history lesson on Native Americans became too unimaginative for her liking.  She took it upon herself to liven things up by creating a story that was based on half-truths about a self-named Indian Princess. Kandice is in fact of Native American heritage (her great-grandmother was a full-blooded Cherokee) and in her own mind a princess, so you can see where her inspiration came from.  Her story was a huge hit with friends, and an author was born.

Kandice was born and raised in rural Arkansas, where she currently lives with her husband and three children. Though, if you ask her she’ll confirm that her soul is lost somewhere on the west coast waiting for the day that her body can re-join it.

5 Strange Things About: Kristel Fijolek

5 Strange Things Series.
Today: Kristel Fijolek
Chemist by day - Bellydancer, Burlesque and Hula Dancer by night.

5 Strange Things About Kristel

1. I'm a Chemist by day, and did not start belly dancing until I was in my late 40s.

2. I can't sleep if the bed isn't made perfectly. I make it right before I go to bed, and if my husband is in bed before I do it I make him get out until I have the bed perfect.

3. I can't stand odd numbers or things that are asymmetrical. I'm looking at an angled chair right now that bothers me, but it fits perfectly in the corner at an angle. You will never see me with 5 of anything. I can deal with 3, because triangles look symmetrical.

4. I have an absurd fear of crossing busy streets. I will stand and wait for a perfect stranger to come along and cross with me before I'll do it alone.

5. This is not a strange thing about me, but a strange thing that happened to me. A man in a wheelchair pulled a knife on me one night because I wouldn't go to his hotel room to "look at the view of Mars". He became even more furious when I didn't take this very seriously, and when my friend and I got in her van to leave, he clutched on to the side mirror and rolled along with us until he finally let go.

5 Strange Things About: Crystal Marie

5 Strange Things series.
Today: Crystal Marie- blogger

5 Strange Things About Crystal Marie

1) I’m a blogger who hates writing reviews.  I know, I know, it sounds stupid but the reality is that writing reviews lately has been really stressful.  With having to worry about an author threatening a lawsuit, or attacking us on the blog, sometimes I wonder if it’s not worth it.

2) I love New York City.  With a passion.  It’s one of my all-time favorite places to go to and I try to go at least every other year (every year if I can swing it).  Now the strange thing about that? I hate people. I hate being in groups of people, the over-crowding, everything about a city? I truly hate and can’t stand. But I freaking love NYC!

3) I have really weird eating habits.  When I was in Colorado, one of my bosses thought I was pregnant for the longest time because I eat weird things/combinations.
My favorite snack though?  Dill pickles and chocolate frosting.  It’s like the combination of the salty pickle and the sweet of the frosting.
And speaking of dill pickles, why can’t you just buy a jar of dill pickle juice all by itself? I mean come on, it’s a great drink, and they should get it to where you can just buy the juice!

4) We (my parents and I) name our dogs with “human” names.  With the exception of one of the boys, who has a “dog” name, everyone else has human names. And yes, they are spoiled rotten and are the rulers of the house.
One of the dogs will talk to you.  So usually every day I’ll go over to my mum’s house and I’ll have a conversation with Jaynee.  Yes, she will literally answer you, and she will be talking and pause and look at you for you to reply.  You can have a probably 30-minute conversation with her and her tail never stops wagging.

5) I’m currently growing my hair out.  I haven’t cut it in about 3 years, which is a super long time for me.  The reason why?  My dad was watching a Farmer’s Only commercial and he made the comment that maybe the reason why I’m still single is because in the commercial all the city girls (who are high patience) have short hair, but the country girls all have long hair.
So I started to grow my hair out so that people would realize that I’m not a city girl LOL.
